Stanton Kidd

Baltimore to the world

Baltimore made him.
He never forgot it.

Stanton Kidd was born and raised in Baltimore, and everything about his game traces back to it. At Edmondson-Westside High he averaged 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists as a senior, leading the Red Storm to the school's first Baltimore City Division I championship and earning team MVP and all-metro honors.

From there the game kept opening doors. He earned his degree from Colorado State, and as a pro he has played across Europe, Asia, and Australia, won a EuroCup championship in 2018, and reached the NBA with the Utah Jazz in 2019.

And through every season, Baltimore stayed home. Backpack drives in August, turkey drives in November, toy drives in December, plus camps and clinics all year. The Stanton Kidd Foundation runs on a simple belief: every young person deserves a real shot, and real change starts with showing up.
